Buccaneers have the oldest 53-man roster in the NFL, while Browns have the youngest

Tom Brady is the oldest player in the NFL, and he leads the oldest squad in the NFL.

According to Jimmy Kempski of PhillyVoice.com, the Buccaneers' 53-man roster has an average age of 27.1 years, making them the oldest in the NFL.

Since the 2018 Raiders, Tampa Bay has the oldest 53-man roster in the NFL on roster cutdown day; no club has had an average age of 27.1 years over the past three seasons.

The Buccaneers would still be among the oldest teams in the NFL if Tom Brady were to be removed from the equation.

The Buccaneers have constructed their squad in the hopes of winning one more Super Bowl with quarterback Tom Brady at the helm, and this has frequently meant choosing veterans over younger players.

The Browns have the youngest roster in the NFL, with an average age of 25.0.

Cleveland has continuously targeted a youthful squad in an effort to prepare for the future, but it remains to be seen when that future will arrive.
