After 25 years of marriage, Rocky actor Sylvester Stallone and his wife Jennifer Flavin are separating.
Friday, Flavin filed "for dissolution of marriage and other remedies" in a Florida court.
The pair wed in 1997 after years of courting beginning in 1988.
Stallone just turned 76, while Flavin is 54, creating a big age gap between them.
In a statement to the media, Flavin stated, "I cherish my family. These personal matters are being discussed calmly and in private."
The couple has three daughters together: Scarlet, 20, Sistine, 24, and Sophia, 25.
Fans saw Stallone had covered up a tattoo of his wife's face on his bicep, causing rumours of a breakup between the pair to spread like wildfire throughout the Internet.
Although the couple had recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary a few months prior, they used Instagram to send each other sweet messages.
She remarked, "Our marriage is growing better every year! I cannot wait to spend the remainder of my life with you!"
